Abstract

PeduliLindungi is an application developed by the government to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, provide information, and track infected individuals. Users of this application are required to access and utilize the existing system. PeduliLindungi application is equipped with various features aimed at controlling the spread of information and the COVID-19 virus. To evaluate the quality of an application, the researcher used the usability method. This method utilizes a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5. Odd-numbered values (1, 3, 5) are reduced by 1, while even-numbered values (2, 4, 6) are reduced by 5 from the scores given by the respondents. This study also involved respondents with different characteristics, such as gender, age, and educational background. The respondents were then grouped into two categories: students and the general public. The research results showed that both students and the general public obtained a Marginal High grade. Based on the research findings, there are several recommendations to improve the application. One of them is to provide clearer explanations regarding the application's features and to address the bugs in the QR Code scanning system.
