Abstract

A company's Human Resource Management (HRM) is classified as good if it is neatly organized with an effective and efficient system. One of them is by applying the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to the company's HR data operation. A new system implemented will be considered successful if its users accept and use it properly. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate the acceptance of the information system. This study aims to assess the factors affecting the approval of the HRIS website at PT. Pelayaran Multi Jaya Samudera using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method. This method includes five variables, namely perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness (PU), attitude toward using (ATU), behavioral intention to use (BIU), and actual system use (ASU). Research data is processed using SPSS softwareâ€â€the research on PT. Pelayaran Multi Jaya Samudera's HRIS shows that two factors can affect the acceptance of the information system: the variable perceived usefulness (PU) and the attitude toward using (ATU). Still, the most dominant is the attitude toward using the system.
