Abstract

Every company has a vision, mission, and goals to be achieved to maintain the company's survival towards a clear goal. One of the activities in maintaining it is a production activity. Stopped production activities can hamper all activities in the company. The application of a production management system for a company aims to facilitate management activities within a company. One company that needs production management is Grandy. Grandy is a business that is engaged in food. In its business activities, Grandy still does manual methods such as recording customer orders on paper, there is no transaction documentation, and so on. This Final Project will design and create a production management system that manages transaction data, production, stock, and calculates Cost of Production / COGS. The purpose of calculating COGS is to get the cost of the product correctly and accurately. The COGS method used is full costing. The methodology used in this final project is RAD with prototyping method. The results of this study are the production management system with the name ‘SiMP Grandy’ system which is made to process transaction data, salary, and COGS calculations into a report for the company
