Trials are the scope of procedural law. The purpose of law is to achieve legal certainty, legal benefits and legal justice. Therefore, the judicial process requires a guide through a system that can be used by law enforcers and the public, namely the legal justice system. In the legal justice system, there is a legal process that includes rights and obligations that need to be met, one of which is the fulfillment of formal and material requirements in procedural law. Non-fulfillment of formal requirements and material requirements in the practice of criminal procedural law will result in documents submitted to the court being null and void or cancelable. This is regulated in Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning the “Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP)†as a guideline for the implementation of procedural law procedures.
