Abstract

This research aims to analyse how the form of consumer protection in electronic transactions. This research uses the type of normative juridical research that is legal reseacrch used as a source of secondary data or data obtained through the library materials by researching research on legal principles, legal resources, law theory, books and regulations. Consumer protection is a very important thing in every buy and sell transaction where consumer is often the victim in every electronic transaction considering that electronic transactions are in cyberspace so vulnerable to action occur Crime because the seller is not known and his place of business is relatively distant or unknown in existence. In the current era of globalization, the behavior of buying and selling through electronic transactions is common and familiar to the community, considering the continued use of information technology and reaching almost all circles community. In the electronic transactions the community must know how to defend its rights as a consumer protected by law.
